Talent Acquisition Specialist

Move forward with First as a Talent Acquisition Specialist!  In this role, you will be an integral part of our Talent Acquisition Team, assisting field location hiring managers with advertising/ATS/recruiting support, as well as ensuring a smooth hiring process the whole way through! You will have interaction with candidates, so a customer service focus is key.

Some of the key responsibilities of this position are as follows:

  • Provide first class customer service to both internal hiring managers and job candidates
  • Partner with hiring managers on advertising support to all field locations
  • Open and close vacancies for location hiring managers as needed
  • Effectively train and mentor new location staff on proper utilization of our ATS (applicant tracking system)
  • Provide oversight/assistance to locations for all assigned vacancies.
  • Partner with location managers to ensure advertising sources are cost effective and yield positive results
  • Partner with location managers to evaluate ad copy to ensure information is updated and ads are competitive in the job market.
  • Work with the Compensation Department to ensure appropriate rate of pay is published/offered.
  • Pull ATS vacancy and application reports 
  • Participate in regional conference calls to provide recruiting updates/best practices.
  • Assist in shipping giveaways to field locations as needed
  • Misc. duties as assigned.


  • Knowledge in Application Tracking Systems required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field (preferred)
  • Previous recruitment experience required, including sourcing & screening candidates
  • High-volume, full cycle experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills; Positive and friendly demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Supportive and helpful attitude
  • Sense of urgency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
