Senior Commodity Specialist

The Senior Commodity Specialist actively manages and maintains direct relationships with supply partners. Maintains relationships with suppliers to develop and define supplier performance, optimize CPA  process and actively manage the business relationships. Initiates and oversees corrective action activities as required.  Provides commodity CPA strategy and support to operating locations on supply chain management. Supports stakeholders, including procurement, internal and external customers, and management. Work in a team environment with other procurement specialists.

Senior Commodity Specialist Qualifications:

  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment
  • Prior procurement experience required.
  • Must be a quick thinker with excellent problem-solving ability
  • Able to work independently and in a group setting
  • Ability to learn and adapt to varied work assignments
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills needed for dealing effectively with all customers and suppliers
