About the Position

Join our region team at our office in Cincinnati, OH! The Senior Accountant is part of a region team that supports the fleet maintenance service division in completing various accounting and finance requirements. including the accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Below is a partial list of additional job duties.

• Performs month-end close functions for multiple cost centers
• Assists with the completion of variance analysis of results to budget, prior year, and forecast.
• Prepares income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and various other accounting statements and reports.
• Analyzes financial reports and records, making recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
• Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
• Analyzes trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Ensures the integrity of monthly billing, payroll, AP, and financial reporting.
• Performs monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assists with financial summaries for senior management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
• Ability to work under very limited supervision with positive results.
• Experience with MS Office products and accounting software preferred.
• Experience with Essbase, JDE and Hyperion Planning is a plus.
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with all levels of management.
• High attention to detail and organization with the ability to self-direct and prioritize.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to perform and manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Ability to manage and organize work assignments, styles, and relationships with several respective managers.
