Marketing Manager

 About the Marketing Manager Position 

 The Marketing Manager will be responsible for tactical execution and implementation of business unit marketing plans to reach target audiences and meet aligned sales and communication objectives. Will work closely with leadership to provide continuous support to enhance and maintain the existing marketing programs and promotional campaigns for our services.

Marketing Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Assists with the development and execution of marketing strategy, activities, campaigns, and collateral across all digital mediums including but not limited to search engine management (SEM), email marketing, social media, and online campaigns that are aligned with First Student’s brand image, sales goals, and associated strategic direction.
  • Develops comprehensive market approach and identifies goals and objectives for the applicable business assignment. Recommends, develops, and executes communication/marketing/public relations strategies to achieve intended results for each targeted vertical.
  • Develops and maintains digital marketing budget
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

Marketing Manager Qualifications:  

  • Requires a four-year degree, preferably in a marketing or business-related discipline.
  • 3+ Years experience in brand and/or product marketing as a marketing analyst, marketing research assistant, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience or 1-2 years experience as an entry-level Marketing Manager.
  • Working with or at an agency on creative program development is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Solid and proven oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven
  • Strong project management ability and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Creative strategic thinker and problem solver who is accustomed to working in teams
  • Results-oriented and able to respond quickly to changing market and/or priorities
  • Innovative and the ability to envision new programs, processes and services are strongly desired
