Become a Lot Attendant with First Transit!

Maintains and fuels all buses, activity, and commercial buses in conjunction with First Transits Maintenance Department: dispenses fuel, checks oil, maintains accurate stick and meter readings, stocks required supplies and equipment, and coordinates the flow of buses to ensure safe operation.  Performs light maintenance as necessary to buildings and grounds.

Lot Attendants are responsible for: 

• Perform servicing tasks cleaning of filters. 
• Replaces bulbs. 
• Lubricates equipment. 
• Removes wheels and tires. 
• Changes fluids in buses. 
• Any other maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor. 
• Repairs floors , seat backs, and coverings 
• Replace mirrors and some exterior panels 
• Add and remove decals

Minimum Experience and Skills Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• Possess a small set of hand tools, increasing as training progresses 
• Ability to learn and perfect maintenance skills
