About the Automotive Electronics Installation Technician Position
Join the First Mobile Technologies team as a 12/24-volt Installer Technician. This exciting position will travel up to 20% of the time performing vehicle installations on police cruisers, heavy trucks, and machinery. You will be required to remove and re-install OEM vehicle interior trim, install electrical wiring, connect electrical fittings, drill holes, wire crimping, and perform all physical tasks associated with modifying vehicles to accept emergency-related equipment. Develop wiring routes throughout the vehicle for the most efficient wiring path and enable future replacement and/or troubleshooting. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment as necessary. Disassemble and reassemble various vehicle makes and models, including sedans, SUVs, and pick-up trucks. The Emergency Vehicle Upfitter will need to exercise teamwork and communicate effectively with co-workers and clients.
