About the CDL Truck Driver Position                                

• Drives a truck and trailer for extracurricular band trips as needed.
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer using a tablet. 
• Cooperates and communications with school personnel, and students. 
• Opens and closes service doors and moves up and down steps multiple times daily. 
• Ensures that load is secured properly. 
• Other specialized functions as required by contract. 

CDL Truck Driver Qualifications  

• Good verbal communication skills  
• At least 21 years old  
• Must possess a Class A CDL Operator's license with required endorsements. 
• The ability to work irregular hours (schedule will be provided in advance and will include sports events and competitions). 
• Must be able to work without direct supervision. 
• Must have the ability to read and understand street signs, route sheets and maps.
